Morocco Pavilion

Morocco's graceful privately sponsored pavilion was of traditional Moroccan design with arches and an open patio. One section was a bazaar, where Moroccan goods were for sale. Elsewhere works by Moroccan artists were displayed, as well as documents and memorabilia pertaining to the country's history. There were also two restaurants and a night club offering dancers, singers and musicians.

Nearby in the bazaar, expert craftsmen and women in Moroccan dress weaved carpets and made brassware and leather goods. Visitors could watch them knotting rugs (20,000 knots per square yard) at the rate of a yard per week.
