Mauritius Pavilion

Mauritius pavilion.

Mauritius, an island off the east coast of Africa, had an octagonal glass fibre tent-like structure. Inside was a three-dimensional topographical map of the island. There were exhibits of products (sugar cane is the island's main staple) and photographs. Also on display were documents recalling the successive rulers from Europe and an impressive stamp collection.
